After you sign up for a class, you will be sent detailed information via e-mail. This will include an address to join a student-only Yahoo group where I will be the instructor and will personally answer questions as you need help. I am offering online courses as "Bytes & Piecemaking" or for short "Bytes". You can take single techniques or sign up for a project where you will combine several techniques. I developed the courses by combining my London's City&Guilds' formal Patchwork&Quilting training with my practical fiber art experience. You will be able to pick and choose the topics and time that suits your schedule. I will be your tutor during the duration of the class.

Any time, you schedule your own class start date. I will tutor.	1 week from start date.	Natural Rust Dyeing technique produces marvelous organic markings on natural fiber cloth. I used silk rust fabric for the background and cotton for natural themed contemporary quilts. I used cotton for horse markings...give it a try for leaves, flowers, earth, sand...limited only by your imagination. Only a few supplies are needed and they are readily available. Ink Jet Paper Transfer Image technique will transform beautiful detailed graphics into transfers for quilts, home decor, and wearable art. Scanning, editing, and printing the graphics onto the transfers will be covered. Topics include images as well as lettering. Includes instructions on editing tips for most graphical software. Mum's the Word Decorative Quilted Pillow Project will include numerous fabric art surface techniques as well as quilting and construction instructions. You will start with rust dyeing fabric, the image paper transfers, tips on contour quilting the marks on the fabric, and how to construct the pillow case. Use new fabrics and recycle your favorite long sleeve Western shirt, with snaps, and jeans to make this fun quilt for that cowboy or cowgirl in your life. Rail fence blocks, boot appliqués, bandanas, and embellishments add to the theme. Every quilt will be unique. See details of pattern and samples here. With registration of the online class, you will be furnished a downloadable pattern in PDF format and information on signing up to a student-only Yahoo group. I will furnish instructions, as needed, in areas such as fabric selection, color, material selection, piecing blocks, threads and quilting techniques. Depending on individual needs we can discuss design principles and pattern variations. Work at your own pace during the month. After gathering supplies, the actual construction including quilting time takes approximately 16 hours.	$50.00 includes class and pattern
