More great landscape pix to be taken, amber waves of grain! Too much inspiration (and chores) in the flower gardens today. My horse themed quilts are taking a back seat to the nature themed quilts, I have two major pieces in the pipeline. Check the website for "What's New" for the latest newsletter.

Current Work. I've completed some smaller studies of gigantium poppy pods, this one is entitled Giant Poppy Pods I. I love to make helioprints this time of year...what magic in the Inkodye transformation!

On one of my groups we are discussing our sketchbooks. Many times people ask to see my C&G sketchbooks as it is a course requirement. I have now refined my process for recording the artistic process that goes into making each quilt. I view this final book as a quilt journal. To see some of those pages from my journal Horsepower: All Stars. CLICK HERE and go to the bottom of the page. Hope you enjoy.

Other family happenings. Jerry was home for a pleasant short visit. School year is over for Travis, can you believe we've made it through these last three years and now he's driving...ugh...always another challenge! Zipper completed his beginner puppy training at PetSmart and received his certificate. He has so much personality, he was the class clown, demanding all the attention, at least he knew most of the tricks...roll over, sit, lay down, hug, get the mail, fetch a ball, stay, etc. well we really must work on "come"...lol.
That's it for now. HAPPY STITCHING!
