My original contemporary design series includes "Hardwood: Black and White Trunk".
Imagine the view one would see when looking up from a huge tree truck
into the sky through leaves.

The background cotton fabric was created using fabric paints. The truck fabric was discharged cotton. The truck was machine appliquéd with contour free motion quilting.
This piece measures 19 1/2" width by 34" height and created in 2010.
